This loft apartment on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., has 16-foot ceilings. Minimal furnishings, dramatic artwork and lighting set the tone throughout. The artwork is by the designer.

To emphasize the 16-foot ceiling heights, a dramatic 10-foot high photograph becomes the backdrop to the bed in this Capitol Hill loft apartment in Washington, D.C. The limited edition photograph titled Angel is by the designer.

Honed black granite countertops, a Carrera marble island, travertine marble floors, along with a subway tile backsplash, give this room the look of a true European kitchen.
